Legends of the Fall

Because the ponds and streams were set at various elevations, water had to be pumped to each level in relays. We specified the use of axial flow pumps by Carry Manufacturing. The pumps were installed in buried, pre-cast concrete vaults adjacent to each pond. The lower pond with the largest pumps pumped to the middle pond, while the middle pond pumped to the upper pond. The upper pond then pumped to the headwaters of the stream.
