Legends of the Fall

Initially, the source flow starts out as a trickle, emanating from what appears to be two springs. As the water begins its downhill journey, hidden injection points gradually increase the flow as it approaches the first of a series of cascades. To maximize the health of the ponds and develop dramatic flows over the waterfalls, additional circulation was provided within the ponds themselves. These early images of the stream were taken when the waterfeature was only a month old and the landscaping hadn’t had a chance to naturalize the setting. Eventually, mature landscaping will obscure much of the shoreline rock.
