We build our projects using the cast-in-place method. Although labor-intensive, this system of pool construction allows for precise placement of the rebar reinforcement matrix inside the concrete shell. This is required for all-tile projects and perimeter overflow pools. Our design called for 18-inch-thick walls with a double mat of 15-meter rebar on 12-by-12-inch centers, both ways.
