Lillian Rosenstock Rothberg, co-founder of Laticrete with her late husband, Henry M. Rothberg, Ph.D, passed away on November 27, 2016 at the age of 91.

Mr. and Mrs. Rothberg founded the manufacturer of construction supplies together in 1956. She was an integral part of building the family-owned company, overseeing office and administrative functions, and helping it to grow into the global company it is today.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Rothberg raised seven children and maintained the family home. She is survived by her seven children, 19 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The company, led by her son, said it will continue to be inspired by her legacy.

“No matter what we do, our company’s actions are based on family values,” said David Rothberg, chairman and chief executive officer of Laticrete. “And, from the very beginning, our company’s values have been the values born by both my mother and father.”
