Filbur Manufacturing, a La Palma, Calif.-based maker of pleated pool/spa cartridges, has promoted two sales managers. Joe Marcotte, previously national sales manager, now is director of sales and marketing. David Nicastro, former Eastern regional sales manager, now serves as national sales manager, pool and spa distribution. Both joined the company in 2012 and have more than 30 years of industry experience.

Marcotte has made significant contributions to many of Filbur’s new products. His new responsibilities include managing all Filbur sales and marketing efforts for pool and spa in the U.S., South America, Canada, Europe and Asia. Nicastro’s new responsibilities include managing the distribution and dealer network in the U.S. and Canada.
“I’m excited for this new opportunity to lead Filbur’s efforts in becoming the industry’s leader for pool and spa filtration, and introducing new and innovative products in the near future,” said Marcotte.
