National Roll-ups, Franchises Thriving in Historic Times

As one new national roll-up announces more acquisitions, another hires a key staffer for its growth strategy. Meanwhile, an established franchise marks a significant milestone.

Roll-ups and franchises, particularly in the service sector, have been making a big appearance this year.

In January, National Pool Partners, a Florida-based service roll-up, launched with its model of acquiring and converting existing service firms.

At about the same time, Pool Troopers, a PSN Top 50 Service firm, embarked on its aggressive growth and acquisition strategy after gaining a private-equity partner late last year.

And, with recent ramped-up demand, Premier Pools Management Corp. began converting existing construction and service firms at a faster clip.
