Service franchiser America’s Swimming Pool Company will now see its name on four more Texas territories, this time in the outskirts of San Antonio.
This brings ASP’s total number of Lone Star State locations to 19.
As the number of pool/spa franchises has increased over the past few years, they all are drawn to Texas. Australian retail/service franchiser Poolwerx set up its U.S. headquarters in Dallas, while Pool Scouts has also recently intensified its presence in the state.
This newest ASP franchise agreement was signed with Doug and Tina George, who will first open an operation in Schertz. Eventually the Georges will also serve Northeast San Antonio, Universal City, Selma, Cibolo, Garden Ridge, Marion, McQueeney, New Braunfels, Live Oak, Converse and other nearby cities.
Doug George was a paramedic for more than 30 years before he spent last summer working part-time servicing pools. “His quick growth in pool service accounts made us consider starting a full-time business in the pool industry,” said Tina George.
