After 34 years in business, Rockwall, Texas spa producer and retailer Aries Spas permanently closed this summer.

With the supply-chain issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, “We were unable to get the parts and raw materials we needed to continue manufacturing spas at the number we needed to continue payroll and so forth,” said Lori Williams, office manager, general manager and a 30-year veteran of the company.

Established in 1986, Aries Spas sold more than 25,000 spas in its lifetime, Williams said. It maintained its own retail locations in Texas, and, in the last few years, mainly sold to dealers in Oklahoma and Switzerland.

The company’s service manager purchased Aries’ service department and will address warranty issues on the hot tubs, Williams said. He can be reached at the same phone number, and Aries has kept up its website with contact information, she added.
