For the second year in a row, practicing and aspirational designers are invited to let their high-end imaginations run wild. The International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo will sponsor the Million Dollar Pool Design Challenge, where entrants are provided with a fictitious client and property, then charged with providing the best, most imaginative solution.
Organizers have added a team category, which includes professionals and students. Winning entrants in the team, professional and student categories, along with the next two top scorers, will be named finalists and treated to transportation, lodging and a per diem to attend IPSPE, to present their designs. Presentation attendees vote for their favorites via smartphone app. The top vote-getter will receive $5,000, as well as press exposure.
