NC Brands, manufacturer of specialty pool and spa water care products, has acquired the assets of Coral Seas from its parent company, Coral Chemical Company, based in Garland, Texas.
Company officials said that NC Brands and Coral Seas have been working together for years, with many of their dealers promoting products from both firms.
Under the acquisition agreement, Coral Seas’ flagship brands, Green to Clean and Yellow Out, will become part of the NC Brands family and will fall under the Norwalk, Conn.-based company’s sales structure.
“Our company has been growing strongly, organically and through acquisition,” said Kate Thielscher, president of NC Brands. “We are delighted to add brands such as Green to Clean and Yellow Out, which are synergistic to our existing brands.”
