RicoRock Acquires Waterfall Creations

The two brands will merge, with Waterfall Creations becoming a subsidiary

Rico Rock

RicoRock, an Orlando, Fla.-based manufacturer of cast concrete rock for waterfall applications, acquired the assets of custom waterfall maker Waterfall Creations, also headquartered in Florida.

Because products offered by each brand differ, Waterfall Creations will keep its name and become a subsidiary of RicoRock.

“The purchase of assets was mostly for product designs,” says Bruce Riley, managing director of RicoRock. “We were impressed at how user-friendly the waterfall designs are [from Waterfall Creations]…that kids can sit in the rushing water and still not cause splash.”

RicoRock also has made some of its existing products into stand-alone water and fire features to become part of the Waterfall Creations brand. These offerings are designed for retailers and service professionals looking for “plug-and-play” waterfall products. Several new products include fire effects with internal storage for propane tanks. These also can be ordered with integrated Bobe burners and fire glass.
